Resources
Covid Safer Bristol is a local mutual aid group that works to address the various ongoing harms of Covid by sharing free resources, knowledge and building Covid safer community in Bristol.

Contact us on: info at covidsaferbristol dot org or instagram.com/covidsaferbristol
We give good quality masks (FFP2 or FFP3) and lateral flow tests to anyone who needs them.

Please complete our request form if you would like to request masks or tests, or email us on: info at covidsaferbristol.org.

We are currently posting masks and tests to people who live in Bristol, and we are working towards having a walk-in equipment library where you can collect masks and tests from a community space in the city. We will update this page once we have this set up.

Our resources will always be distributed for free, and if you are able to donate money or spare FFP2/3 masks, we will gladly take donations!

We are also currently fundraising for some air filtration units (HEPA filters) that we will lend to anyone who would like to borrow them to clean the air at events and other spaces where people are gathered indoors. Here's the link to our fundraiser:

Collaboration
We occasionally organise Covid safer meet ups and events in Bristol, and we have a network of mutual support for people who care about Covid, and people who have Long Covid and other chronic illnesses. Everyone in the group has different access to safety so there’s no ‘conditions for entry’ beyond it being important that we share a factual reality of the ongoing harms of Covid and we make conscious choices about Covid safety / we wear masks / test / clean the air.

Get in touch if you’d like to connect with our group or if you have any questions.

Email: info at covidsaferbristol dot org, or message us on Instagram.
We are always keen to collaborate with other groups and organisations, to share knowledge and resources and advocate for safer shared air in Bristol.
Get in touch if you’d like to talk about working together!
"Long COVID is a set of health issues after someone has COVID-19. These could be: new health issues, ongoing issues, or worsening of previous symptoms or conditions. Long COVID is a biological disease that affects hundreds of millions of people around the world. It can cause significant disability and can be fatal. It is a continuing health crisis.

Long COVID is an “umbrella” term. This means it can include many symptoms as well as other diseases or medical diagnoses. It can affect all parts of the body. It affects people in all age groups, races and ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations. People with or without prior health issues can develop the disease. It can happen after asymptomatic or mild infection."
